Turkey Day and New Favorite Pics

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving!! We had a great time up at the cabin with Uncle Tom and Aunt Lesa, some cousins, my Grandparents, and my immediate family (minus RJ and Rusti's-darn it!). The dinner was great, and I'm really surprised and impressed with myself that I didn't gorge myself sick, like I usually do on Thanksgiving!

It is always SO nice to be around family! I keep wondering if this will be the last family event that my little old Grandma will be with us. She has alzeheimer's and is pretty frail. She's just a shell of what she used to be - she hardly talks, and falls asleep all the time - it's seriously like a newborn baby. I miss her, and I know that her spirit has probably got one foot here and one with Heavenly Father right now. I can't wait to be able to see her again, back the way she was, and be able to talk to her about my marriage and kids, and all the things that she has "missed".

I am so incredibly grateful for my sweet boys - all 3 of them! They are such a blessing in my life, and I can't imagine a life without any of them! What a fun family! Gerritt is such an amazing father and husband - and he is SUCH a hard worker! Going from a full time job, starting at 4:30 in the morning, and then going straight to school until 9:30 at night - and pulling a 3.8 GPA?! It blows my mind! He's always so happy to help with the kids and they just adore him! He can get a smile or a laugh from either of them pretty much whenever he looks at them!

Here are some of my favorite recent pics. The little boys and I had a little photoshoot the other day and Max and I took turns taking pictures. That's pretty much the only way I can bribe him into taking pics these days - if I tell him that he can take a turn too! The kid actually does a half-decent job though! He took a few ones of me that I mind too much!

Love to you all! Thanks for being such loving and supportive friends and family! And I expect to see lots and lots of comment love! :)

Hee hee hee. That's what I hear when I look at the pictures of Max laughing. That little high pitched kids laugh. So cute!

Way to go on not gorging yourself. Me... well I ate like a horse.

Those pictures are so good! You look amazing!! I was just thinking the same thing about Ryan's grandma... she had a stroke on Halloween and it is so sad to see her. She really is sort of like a baby, having to learn how to swallow again and walk and all of that. Sad stuff.
