Well, we've hit the 3 month mark with Hudson! It's sad to see him coming out of the newborn stage, but he's been so much FUN lately, smiling and trying to laugh. He seems to track Max wherever he goes and Max is starting to actually show some interest in him also. Such cute little brothers!

Gerritt working on getting through finals, just before the Holidays, and I am proud to say that for the first time in my life, I have the Christmas tree up and decorated, and many presents wrapped and under the tree - and all done before December!! It's such a relief to not have as much stress as putting things off to the week before! YAY!!

Max has been saying some pretty funny things lately. It's like he just put the talking and pronunication into overdrive, because suddenly we can understand almost everything he says! Yesterday, I said "Maxwell! Stop it!" and he came back with "No - Mommy 'top it!" I was like excuuuuuse me???! Ha ha - gotta nip that in the bud! He is obsessed with the Disney movie "Cars" and has a series of books about the characters and one is called "Doc Hudson". Well, he calls it "Doc Hudsies" because he calls baby Hudson "Hudsies". He's a funny kid. If he does something that he knows we will not approve of, he looks up at us with these little sweet eyes and says "You, happy Mommy?" I'm like No - I'm not happy that you just painted oatmeal all over the table and bench!
Gerritt thinks he going on a scubadiving trip this weekend in California. Yeah. right. No- it's actually an awesome opportunity for him to get 2 certifications and it's a trip that would only cost him 80 dollars instead of the hundreds that it normally would. Still, it's going to be really hard for me to be without him for 3 extra days, when it's so rare that we see him anyway. He better be prepared to make up for it BIGTIME. I'll keep ya posted on what the outcome is!
