Yay!! What a great way to start off the month of December! Max and I went out and played in the snow this morning, and I attempted to shovel the driveway since Gerritt is still out of town. I didn't even get halfway done before I was exhausted and sore! That is HEAVY snow!!
I just have to say, it's only been a day and a half since Gerritt's been gone and I am really struggling! I can't even imagaine what it would be like to be a single parent all the time! We went to the Festival of Trees last night and it was pure unadulterated madness! Not only did some old lady in an SUV back into my car, but it took 15 minutes to find a parking place and it was SO difficult to navigate my way with a double stroller, through the thousand or so people that flooded the convention center. The trees were pretty though, and even the scantily clad pre-teens performing their Christmas-dance-of-seduction, were entertaining, but it's just so hard to do outings alone!
Can't wait til he gets home tomorrow night! Plus - I told him he better not step foot in our door without presents for each of us, so I can't wait to see what he got! Ha ha!

Those preteens were freaky. But in the words of my MIL, what the heck was up with the 45 YO man dancing with pre-pubescent teens? He had major swoobies.
I can't beleive how cute and BIG hudson is getting em! We hope to see you and your cuties at the christmas party. I'm pretty sure that corban and I will be there, probably not jack though, because he already has a few other december days requested off.We'll see though. I can't wait until corban can come play in the snow! He's kinda sick right now so I didn't wanna mess with more of a runny nose than I had to. :)
You are one brave woman! I think I would be afraid to take ONE kid to Festival of Trees. Way to go, supermom! And good idea with the present request... demand.
You're too funny, I would not have even attempted shoveling! I would have just stayed snowed in til hubby got home lol. Cute pics of Hudson. I can't believe he is 3 months old already!
