I've been slacking a lot, but to my defense, I've been out of town a TON in the last few weeks. I just can't bear to be home alone very often, so I go down to hang out with my Mom and my family, and I've been spending weeks at the cabin. SO gorgeous up there!! It makes me sooo happy to be out in the beauty of the fall - it's like a breath of fresh air, literally!
So, on to the pictures - but first, I have to post this picture I found of Gerritt at Basic Training. The Army is doing a new thing for the families and they made a Facebook group where you can see updates of what they're working on each day and even some photos. I can't tell you how much this has meant to me!! Iwas at the library in Kamas, tears flowing, when I first saw this picture. It's so nice to see that he's really still alive!
Here's the pic - he's doing an obstacle course. (This is after they did the gas chamber and Gerritt had to go to the hospital for an allergic reaction to the tear gas. ) :( He's the guy on the far left.
Keep workin hard, sweetie! We love you and miss you so much!!

.....And on to more happy things - here are some pictures I've been taking up at the cabin.

These baby calves are just darling!

The river, where we spent a lot of time throwing rocks and other debris with the kids.

Ahhhh....the BEAUTY!

Here's a tee-pee my Mom made for the grandkids. SOO cute! They made a little indian tribe!

Hudson just RAN everywhere we went - he pretty much always does that, little stinker.

This is what is directly behind the cabin. I just LOVE this time of year.

Tea party in the "deer den" with Grandpa Tom and cousins Isabelle and Olliver.

The leaves seriously changed every day while we were up there.

Hudson loved this little train conductor outfit so much - he didn't even care that his ears were all folded up.

My Mom's pioneer handcart for the kids (it's like a wagon, with a handle, so we pulled the boys a LOT)

We found a rope swing and the kids had a blast.

Why did I even come HOME from this place! LOVE IT!

Folded ears. :)

I just love these old barn houses!

Trying on Grandpa's glasses

Here's the cabin 2 weeks earlier - not much yellow yet!

Kissing the calf - NAST!

Riding the "wheelers" with Grandma up Cedar Hollow canyon.

SO PRETTY!

I have more stuff since then, but that's really all I've been doing the last month - oh, and did I mention, we're through our first month?! SOOO thrilled to see one whole month crossed out on our wall!!! We might just make it to November 13th after all!
Thanks again to all my friends and family who have carried us through this craziness! Loves to all of you!!
