Well, I haven't posted in a while, mainly because we've been trying to spend as much family time together as possible.
Gerritt joined the Reserves a few months ago, and was sent to Basic and AIT training in South Carolina and Virginia on August 31st. He won't be back until next February.
Honestly, it really hasn't been real until about yesterday, that he isn't going to be here and that I can't call him. Basic training is really strict, and we've been told there's no contact at all except for mailing letters, so we're anxious to get our first letter from him telling us his address.
I'm trying my best to keep busy, doing activites for the kids, my calling, cleaning the house, and hanging out with family. Yesterday was the worst day so far and I seriously could not keep it together ALL DAY!! I cried to the bank teller, to people from my ward that I ran into at Target, at Classic skating, and at Burger King. Pretty much constantly. (and those of you that know me, know that I'm NOT a crier!) I just miss the guy so dang much!!
So, I'll try to be better at posting pics and blogging, but some days I might be bummed that I don't have my partner with me.

The last two times I've been preg-o, Rex has had to leave me for internships for school. The first was 2 months while he went to Africa. The second was 2 months last year for his internship to the bay area. Next June we are going to be apart for 6 months while he goes out for some more training with the company he's working for, Hewlett Packard. He's going to be living in Singapore. The cost of living is just too, expensive to take the whole fam along. You'll be in my prayers. Lean on family and the ward and most importantly the Lord.... and dream of your reunion with the hubbers when he returns!

I'm so sorry for your saddness. In january I'm sure you'll wonder where the time has gone but right now you don't want to hear that. Bring the boys down to play and have some adult time. My cousin started a craft group that meets the second tuesday of every month if you'd like to come be a part of it you're welcome :)
I know just the thing to get your mind off it... PLAYTIME with Suzy. Trust me - it works everytime. :)
oh Em. I'm so sorry to hear this. I can't even imagine how hard it must be. You are so strong, so courageous. I hope you know that.
wow Em that sounds so hard,you are strong especially since it just hit you, i would cry the whole time if it were me, i am an emotional wreck about things like that. if you ever need more family just remember we are only like ten minutes away!
