Oceanside, CA trip 2009

Every other year, my Grandma Lois helps us all rent condos at the North Coast Village in Oceanside and every time it is a BLAST!!!

I do have to apologize for my camera quality - especially after my last post, but I had to take my regular dumb camera and it was having some issues. :(

I just realized that the pictures aren't exactly in order, but I don't care so much anymore. :)

Our 13+ hour day that we spent at Sea World was SOOO fun!! We went to all the shows and the favorite was the Shamu shows. We sat in the "soak zone" every time and all through the day we didn't get splashed, until that last show at 9:30 pm, when the boys had fallen asleep in our arms - then we got it! Funny thing was - they didn't even wake up!

We hit up all the shows in the daytime, and then we headed over to the kiddie section to do rides and play on the big playgrounds, and it was awesome because most the kids had already left for the day! Hardly any lines at all!!

We were lucky enough to get into Sea World for free with the military, so we went ahead and paid for the kids to hand feed the sea lions with little fish. It was so cool! We also had Max do the extreme bungee trampoline jumping and we ate some great food.

The rest of the week we were in Cali, we basically went from the beach to the pool to the hot tub and then back to the beach again - all day every day! The boys had the time of their lives, playing with the cousins, swimming, playing with sand toys, and getting to eat fun food and treats.

All in all - we LOVED it!!!

Max all sandy - he didn't even mind it in his eyelashes.

This is on the plane (sorry) - we had them both plugged in to iPods and it was awwwwesome!

Max and Daddy on a ride

We got them these glowing swords for the night shows.

Max and cousin Andrew

The boys petting a stingray

A shark!

In front of the shark aquarium - it was HUGE! And they had one that was a tunnel that you walk through and the sharks swim over and all around you!

Wow!

Max doing his bungee "jumping" (after MUCH persuasion)

Waiting for the Shamu show to start

Looking at fish

A huge octopus

Jellyfish

The tide pool at Sea World

Hudson just being a boy

I was SO lucky - he took his naps on the beach every day!

The beach!!

They sure loved the water!

This is pretty funny. Don't mind my annoying voice.

Max jumping and telling us he wouldn't do a flip. Okay kid!

Hudson doesn't like cotton candy - figure that one out!

Heh heh heh. You should have put on more pictures of North Coast Village. There are some good ones on your phone -- texting them to your email has only a standard texting rate. It's no difference at all...
