Month 2 and Potty Training Take 2

Hudson had his 2 Month Check Up yesterday, and got his first rude awakening of the cruel world, with 4 shots and a dose of Rotavirus vaccine! He loved the Rotavirus one because it tasted good (it HAD to be better than the Zantac he's been taking, that I maybe shouldn't have flavored a strong grape flavor over the nauseating mouthwash flavor it came with..). Of course, he freaked about the shots, but that's to be expected.

His stats are: (drumroll please)
Weight - 11 lbs 6 oz - 50% (stayed the same)
Length - 24 1/2 in. - 90% (drastic change from 50% at 2 weeks)
Head - 45%

So, overall, I'm pretty pleased about that. He loves to stand up on my lap now and he can hold his head up really well, so I've put him in the Bumbo a little bit here and there, but only on the counter or a really high surface. Kidding...kidding!

Anyway, here's another pic of him, just so you can see his little lips all folded up from his chubby cheeks! I LOVE his squishy lips!




And here we have Max doing what we've known so well these last 5 days - being naked and feeling free as a bird. Let's just say that "Mr. Peepers" has had a lot of chillin out time, and may have been in many places and situations he shouldn't have.... Not to mention that I keep catching Ruby licking his bum.



Potty training is going, relatively well though. He really doesn't have accidents at home, and even stayed dry during his nap today when I put his little boxer briefs on, instead of the usual diaper. My plan as of now is to just keep practicing at home, and *hopefully*, someday soon, I will be able to leave the house without too much fear. I really am impressed with the kid, and that he's doing so well for a 2 year old! It reminds me of his father...... :)
