Halloween Mayhem!

We had SO much fun at our neighborhood Halloween party on Saturday! Max scored with the firemen and was allowed to actually sit in the driver seat of the fire truck! Then, they raised the hook and ladder truck's ladder all the way up, I don't know how many stories, and they dropped pumpkins onto targets drawn on the parking lot! There's something really entertaining about a large fruit smashing into a million, slimy pieces!

I also dyed Caroline's hair red for a Poison Ivy costume that she was wearing Saturday night. 10 packs of Kool-Aid can't be wrong! Ha! It looked like a murder scene in the bathroom, but had a pleasing and overwhelming scent of cherry!

So, my favorite photographer took a couple pics of the boys' in their Halloween costumes, and she's having a contest for the cutest costume. Winner gets a FREE family session and a big print - and I've been DYING to get family pics done! I'm gonna ask for all my loyal and not so loyal blog stalkers to please do me the favor of voting for one of my little pumpkins. Max is #1 and Hudson is #3 - I don't mind which one you vote for! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

I love the combo of the rooster & the catepillar, because it's like Max is going to eat Hudson. I don't blame him because sometimes I think Hudson's so cute I wanna eat him up! (um, that was pretty cheesy wasn't it?)

I love how the firefighter looks like gerrit from the side. My first thought was, wow, Gerritt's mustache looks so distinguished.

GD my wife is cheesy......That firefighter was sportin' quite the 'stach wasn't he. That would be a good look for GerRAT. Sleazy seems to suit him.....when's our next big cook-off gonna be?
