Lots Of Stuff Goin' On -

I'm getting behind on my blog again! Hate that!

Here's the down low -

* Who says that guys can't wear makeup? Max can apply mascara with the best of 'em! He even applied my undereye concealer first and finished off the look with a little eyeshadow.

Touche', Maxwell! I'm keeping these pictures for later.....

And Hudson has the right kind of lips to pull off a dark red lipstick! Good times.....

*Painting, painting, and more painting! Who knew that my ceilings were THAT beige?! (The walls and the ceilings were the SAME COLOR) And, holy CRAP, how nice is it to have white ceilings now!

*We switched out the entry grandma chandelier with a bronze lantern! Woo-hoo!!

Before

After!

*Hudson is IN-SANE! I find him in the most precarious positions all throughout the day, every day! I don't know if he has a deathwish, or.......he's planning to be Evil Knievel when he grows up....

He decided to bail after eating lunch the other day....

*Max has started writing. Yep, WRITING. He gets up between 6 and 7:00 every morning and I usually let him play computer until I get up around 7:30 or 8. I bought him this "Get Ready for Kindergarten" activity book and I flipped through it the other day - yeah, it was a little freaky, like A Beautiful Mind, or something! The kid had finished more than half of the book, BY HIMSELF - writing letters, upper and lowercase! Craaaaaziness!

*And lastly, I somehow contracted the dreaded Salmonella on Sunday night. Never. Been. More. Ill. In. All. My. LIFE!!!!!! Not cute. Sorry - no pictures!

Holy crap, Max! I'm so impressed. What a smarty pants! And how did you get salmonella poisoning? Did you eat the forbidden pb? AHHH! I'm sooooo sorry - that sounds terrible.

Wow, busy busy!
First of all, I'm so sorry about the salmonella--disgusting.
I love the chandelier, don't love the pics of Hudson trying to kill himself, and love the makeup.
Jackson loves makeup too.
It's not just for girls (these days).
Aren't you so glad Max loves reading and writing? Much better than trying to force your kid to learn, even though it inevitably leads to writing on walls, doors, etc.!

Holt cow, he's a genius! Way to go, Max!!

Sorry about the salmonella. That STINKS! But I appreciate the fact that you didn't post pictures. :)

Awesome progress with the house. I totally dig your lantern over the 80's gold plated chandelier!

Had to LOL at your boys experimenting with makeup already. Teehehe. Payback for when they're 16?

What a daredevil Hudson is...WOW! Hope your medical insurance is good...lol...i can foresee many stitches trips for that boy...LOL.

Im blown away at Max and his reading AND writing!!! He's a lil genius!

.... Wow that sucks. How do you take care of kids when all you want to do is stay within 12 inches of a newly established porcelain friend?

Can I say reincarnation of Chris?!

Check over to my blog - I bet you'll see your little smarty staring right at you.

Caroline said...

lol k, for chris to be reincarnated, he has to be DEAD....>_<

Sorry you are sick. Please get better quickly.
I love that book, where did you get it? I am thinking Bryn needs one.

Forgot to mention. White ceilings are a must! They make such a difference.
Also, the new light is perfect.

He is a genius. He will be easy in school. It's nice to have those kind of kids. Can't wait to see your house for Bonko. Looks like it will be brand new.
