The Ped-egg (or, more appropriately in my eyes, the Ped-i-file - hehe, I crack myself up)
I know what you're thinking - NASTY! Right? Seriously, this thing is AWESOME!! I went from callused, cracky heels, to perfectly, smooth-ness in a few minutes time. Totally addicting! ( I could've done without that "parmesan cheese" picture in the top right though...)#2
The blessed miracle that IS.......... Oxi-Clean!
This stuff is THE. BEST.! I got out a bunch of baby clothes from storage - you know the ones that are right around when you started giving the kid orange babyfood, never to be the same - well, I am pleased to announce, it took just 24 hours soaking in an Oxi-Clean bath and the 2-year-old stains are GONE! Not kidding, people!!

The Sonicare toothbrush
I know, I know! I'm a total toothbrush snob, BUT - I've worked in the dental field for quite a few years, and I know what I'm talking about on this one! I'm proud to say, I met Gerritt with 10 cavities and he hasn't had ONE since then! We are a Sonicare family - and by that I mean we ALL use it, including my 1 year old! SO worth it! Keeps your teeth white too! :)#4
Curel lotion

It's the ONLY brand that keeps your skin soft for literally 24 hours! And it isn't greasy at all! LOVE it!

you are hilarious!!! magic defin. works like magic! as for lipsmackers, at one time i think i had 40 (not exagerating). i was OBSESSED.
as for the stainremover - THANK YOU! i have been trying to find something that works good. YA HOO
Fabulous list, Miss Emily. I'm so sold on trying all of them. I've never had a stain remover that worked better than my Spray 'n Wash Dual Power, but they stopped making it. Once I run out of the stockpile I loaded up on before all the stores ran out, I'll be moving over to OxyClean.
p.s., Cooper has a thing for mustaches and was VERY impressed w/ Max's Mario stach!
I got a ped egg this summer, and I love it! I must know where you get your steam rollers. Could you email me. itsnobiggie@gmail.com
oh...and the magic cream.
Great list! So fun to hear about others must haves!
haha that's awesome, and the ped egg kind of grosses me out sometimes... but it's all good ;)
about the steam curlers: seriously!?!? for days??? where do you get it? how much is it?
can you tell i'm excited???!!!
For those who asked - The Caruso curlers are available at Ebay, and they should be at any beauty supply store - I checked Sally Beauty online and they have them!
The Magic Cream is in the Ethnic section at most grocery stores, but definitely Walgreens and Rite Aid.
I'm going to go pick up a tub of oxy-clean tonight. I've always wondered about that stuff. (just be careful that you aren't filing too much skin off-if they are tender at all afterwards you should wait quite sometime before re-filing.) I will add something to your foot regimne though: Heel Balm works AMAZINGLY WELL!!! Use it daily after showers and it will be months in between filing your heels. :)
I love these - - I'll have to try a few of them (LOVE the ped egg, but yes, that pic. grosses me out too).
I saw the Ped Egg yesterday at Mervyns. I was so tempted to buy it. Maybe I'll have to go back
You crack me up! Thanks to you I know about the Magic Cream secret! I love it! I've been wondering if i should get a ped egg! I guess I'll have to try it.
"I could've done without that "parmesan cheese" picture in the top right though..." ......
LOL! Yea, that photo always makes me almost throw up a lil in my mouth... LOL...
I'm SO behind! I can't believe this post is nearly a week old.
Love the list. There's a shirt of Ollie's that I can't get a stain out of. It's bad. But I only soaked it for an hour. Do you think if I did 24 hours it would work?
Emily, I am soooo glad you shared your favorites!!! Seriously. Now I really, really want a ped-i-file now, minus parmesan cheese. :)
Okay, I've got to think of some of my favorite things. But seriously, do the curlers really work??? Do you love them? I want to try them!
Awesome endorsements Emily! You should definately get a cut because I'm sold on all of them! Thanks for sharing your favs...
I just linked over from Kami's blog. I must say I do love the Ped Egg. Thanks for all the great tips, I love it when people who actually use the product recommend them.
i can never wrap my hair around the curler and keep them in ... whats the secret? cuz i too have very very straight hair!
Thanks for the recommendations. I actually ordered the ped-egg online after reading this and just tried it tonight. I can already see a difference in my gross, calloused heels. The parmesan cheese idea is pretty nasty, though, but worth it to smooth things out on my feet!
I have wanted to try the ped egg!
Aww Man! I wondered about the Oxi-clean. I'm seriously considering the Ped-egg!
so i totally bought the caruso steam culers last night. they came out AMAZING this morning but with the foggy oregon air, started to fall out quickly. but you know what? even as loose curls, it still looked amazing. def. a keeper- thanks for the tip!
Okay, may I add another testimonial to oxy-clean? Ali wrote on our wood desk with a SHARPIE permanent marker. I was rubbing and scrubbing to no avail, and thought, well, it's already ruined, why not try the oxy-clean? Just got some on a wet rag, and it came RIGHT off. So glad I grabbed some the other day at the grocery store, thanks to you Emily!
