Fall Fun and Thoughts of Mario

Today we went to the Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point, and had a BLAST!! I just love this time of year, and all the fun activities!

Here's my sweetie, Hudson, waiting and watching Max get his face painted -

Proudly displaying his cheek -

Face painted club - Hallie, Colton, Max, and little Ky in front

Hallie going down the slide - she kept putting her arms behind her back the whole way down - it looked like they were going to break!

Max's approach -

Bouncy houses ALL DAY!! Ahhh - to be a kid again!

I shoved Hudson through the flap door and he was less than impressed - especially since he couldn't even stand up with all the jumping...

But, he WAS impressed with this little talking head, and kept poking it in the eyes.

We played SO MANY games - it was nuts! Max pretty much had the time of his life.

Bulls-eye!

How cute is baby Bowden?! I just love him!

More sliding! Max-style -

and Hallie-style! Seriously - where the heck are her arms?? It's like a contortionist!

Kyren is SO cute!!

Hallie and Max - destined to be together, with those cheesy-faces!

Fun, fun stuff!

So, after much Halloween discussion, and quite possibly some pleading and bribing on my part, Max has decided that he wants to be Mario for halloween. Yes - as in Super Mario, the Nintendo game. I came to the conclusion that this is what happens when your kids hanging out with teenage Aunts, a lot.

Not that it's necessarily a BAD thing, but it might be a tad embarrassing when he's older. Ahh well - such is life, right?

So get ready to see Max looking like a colorful, middle-aged man, real soon! Ha ha!! Can't you just see him with the mustache, now?

That looks SO fun! We took Avery to a similar place and he was in kid heaven, it was great!
I can't wait to see the Mario costume, how fun! Avery loves mario...but not because of teenagers. Andy and I play Mario on the Wii.
