First off - I just have to mention - take a long hard look at my children's eyes. Have ever seen a child's eyes this big and blue? I implore you - I challenge you even! Blow these pictures up if you have to - unless you're a perv from Germany, and in that case, I don't want to know.
One of Max's "body slams" - this time, miraculously, without resulting in crying.
Hudson and his little mamacita swappin' spit over Hud's binky. I guess I ruined the moment..
One of Max's many artfully created photographs.
Daddy's Birthday!
My glorious Black Forest cake (that I make EVERY year for Gerritt's B-Day. It's the only kind he wants!) PS - That's chocolate ganache frosting, people. Only the best for my man! I don't front!
and last, but not least,
Here's how I spent my morning - getting allergy tested to see if I qualify for allergy shots. Let's just say that if I roll down a hill of sagebrush, weeds, grass, and a russian olive tree, while holding a cat, I might just die of anaphylaxis. Or, just really bad hives. Either way - It'd suck.
And yes - I was that bored to take pics. My arms were itching like a mo-fo and anything that I could do to take my mind off of it was welcoming. :)
That's it! Have a great day!

Aaah, I'm sorry! I worked in an allergist's office at one point in time, and I felt so bad for everyone who came in.
I love the "Hidden Tiger" picture. Max has got it goin on!
That sucks. I'm glad I'm not allergic to anything!
The picture of your boys is so cute. The pictures of you arms...not so much.
Love all the pics! Hudson's looking so much older.
And by the way, that cake was delish!
OMG Brian would LOVE LOVE LOVE that cake! It's just like his most favorite cold stone creation- black forest dream.
That cake looks dreamy.
Just so you know, my birthday is August 28th.
Sorry about the allergies and all but I can't focus on ANYTHING other than the CAKE!!! YUM! BTW - my birthday is Aug. 17th. But I'm not sure I can wait that long.... recipe, please? (And a gourmet chef to bake it for me, please?)
oh my word. did you just say mofo on your blog? you are officially my favorite person of the day:)
so fun to see all the pictures em! we really should get the boys together soon...what about the zoo?
Yikes! That does not look pleasant! I have poison ivy all over my face and arm at the moment. No, I have not been traipsing in any woods or enjoying a summer time hike. I am so allergic that if I rub up anything or anyone that has come into contact with the ivy I break out! Makes me want to stay inside all summer long!
