Attempt #1 - Family Night at Sugarhouse Park
It really was a beautiful evening and the ducks enjoyed our bread..
and so did Max.
All in all, a rather nice night.
Attempt #2 - Zoo Trip with Friends
(I know it looks like a sweet little kitten, but it's some kind of jungle cat. It looked innocent enough, but I witnessed some of it's ferocity as it hissed at Max through the glass. I can't blame it though - I hissed at Max a few times today too..)
Thrilled for the train!
It was a full day at the zoo! We saw all the animals, rode the rides, played at the playgrounds, and everything. I really tired the little buggers out!
and then....
Max's Attempt at Ending Boredom -
My eyes were involuntarily brought to tears as the stifling smell of Vick's Vaporub filled the air of my bedroom. Everywhere. And mainly globbed all over his upper body, shirt and all.
This sucker was FULL, folks.
When questioned why he did it, Max said "Because I needed to wipe it!"
*SIGH* Not good enough, buddy.
His shirt is completely soaked with greasy, mintyness. Is that even going to come out? Seriously.
Ah, well - if it's only 1 act of random destruction per day, I will be blessed.
Oh, and Hudson, I am more than happy to continue being your Mom when you are done teething. Just lemme know.

Hehehe! Don't you love 'em?! Well...at least he didn't eat it! Max's little smile is so cute! We miss you guys by the way...we need to get together.
Oh man, I feel like I can smell him from here. that is the most powerful stuff ever. I bet your whole house is minty fresh. Funny stuff!
No stuffy noses at your house for a month at least!
Night school......blah, I remember the days. It's so hard, but so worth it!
I love that he has a huge smile on his face for the menthol pictures, that it was a big joke, lol.
Goodluck with the swing shift! Looks like you've have fun lately :) That does look like a nice kitty.. i guess you never can tell.
I gagged just thinking about getting it in my mouth. Blech! But you're right, one random act of destruction is better than two!
Give me a call if you need relief from the no-husband kids-are-driving-me-nuts disease.
Sorry you're husbandless. I know a bit of what that's like, seeings how I hardly saw Scott those first several weeks after Brody was born. Wish we could have joined the fun zoo party. Normally I would have woke Cooper up, but knowing he still had a full afternoon/evening and the fact he went to bed so late the night before, the rest was probably the best thing.
Did you get my message about Thursday night? Scott gets home at 6:30 and we're going to head out then. You game?
p.s., laughed hard at the "hissing" comment and note to Hudson!
Nuh uh! That little booger. At least he didn't eat it I guess. lol
I am proud of you that you took a picture of it! I am terrible about getting the picture - I get too mad and just start cleaning up!
I love this post. I know what you mean about trying to keep busy.
The vapor rub is something Im sure my Dallin will attempt!
The teething sucks I feel your pain we have been getting molars here.
As for my u/s she wouldnt really even check for us. We found out with Dallin at 15 weeks. Hopefully Ill get another one soon and baby will reveal itself. I think boy!
What a nut! He can hang out with my mother in law... she eats the nasty stuff when she has a cold. Just send him her way :)
Oh wow! What a mess! I bet he and Chris would have a blast together. This morning I had a bathtub full of hair volumizer that I just bought three days ago and was not cheap. Crazy boys.
