Here are the highlights -
*Friday night - made Rachel's out-of-this-world salsa. Seriously, addicting.
*My little sis, Caroline, made the Cheerleading squad at East High!
*Saturday - Went to Western Gardens and picked up some seeds for my little veggie and herb garden. I decided to try out a much-raved-about new breed of tomato, the Super Sweet 100's. Can't wait to get planting!!
*Met Gerritt at Tony Caputo's for my favorite sandwich, and then we split up and I mozied on down to Sur La Table at Gateway, and got a few fun things for myself with an old gift card. Can't wait to try out my new Sushi Made Easy book! :)
*Came home and, since it was still warm and light, vacuumed and cleaned out both cars and washed them in the driveway. Ahhhhhh - CLEAN! Nothing says 'summer' like hosing down your car in the yard. I can't tell you how much this still pleases me.
*Sunday - Went to my Mom's for a delicious family dinner and the fun company of this darling Guatemalan family, the wife whom takes care of my Grandma a few weeks a month. Max thinks he speaks Spanish since her 2 year old taught him "Gato! Gato!" is calling the family cats and usually torturing them....
All in all, a good one. Hope everyone else enjoyed theirs as well!

Love the weekend! I need to add washing/vacuuming the car to my list of productive things accomplished! It was so nice to get that done too! I'm sorry I can't make it this week- we're swamped!
