The Good Things About Having a Dog...

Yes, I acknowledge that I've said a lot of hurtful comments about how much of a pain our little dog is, but I have to admit, there are quite a few pros to having her with us.

Here are a few of them:

1. There is not a single crumb on the floor of our house.

2. Clothing in the laundry basket on the floor in the boys' room is mysteriously "pre-washed" before is ends up in the washing machine. Disturbingly enough, even a few "blow-out" onesies of Hudson's.......... (this is exactly why you don't let a dog lick you, people!)

3. Spit up in the carpet is no longer an issue.

4. Bibs are hardly even needed any more!! Ruby is so talented that she can even catch the drool mid air....

Impressed? I should hope so!

Ha! I agree with all these points! Now that we have a dog, I'm starting to see the bonuses. :-)

I was thinking we really need one of those things as I was sweeping up the floor today. How nice it would be to have an automatic cleaner!

Now you are really detouring me from being the nice mom I want to be and getting a dog, but cute Hudson pics!

I have to agree with the crumbs on the floor, that is the one thing that I really miss... especially with kids. Now I actually have to sweep my kitchen... what? :)

She is such a cute dog! I agree about always wondering what's been in a dog's mouth. I love Henry to death but I don't trust his standards about what's edible.

cute cute post!!!Thanks for the paint suggestion., I love that color! I was trying to stay a little more away from reds and more oranges I guess becasue I didn't want my kitchen to look Christmasy. I know the picture doesn't show it well but they really are green and I love em so I would never paint them.

Sorry em--I hate dogs!
I got bit on the butt when I was 12, never been the same since :)
By the way, every time I see your slide show I fall in love all over again, I love it!

okay. I'll give you those good things. The fact that they'll eat POO out of onesies (and diapers, by the way) is incredibly nasty. ewww. I'm not so much a dog person but I NEEEEED to convert. my DH would be the happiest man on the planet.
by the way, your VDAY dinner looks AMAZING. I've never eaten up there. Looks gorgeous AND delicious:)
