The Cabin! and......Croup!

Yep - we have the "barking" cough at our house! You really wouldn't be able to tell, looking at him, since he's still smiling a lot, and eating and sleeping well. I really think I can attribute it to this little gadget:

The Nosefrida!! Now, before you start to throw up in your mouth a little, I'll tell you that there's a filter in the tube so that you never come into any contact with the boogs. I'm just SO excited about this thing - I told my Pediactrician about it when I took Hudson in, and she was thrilled too. She said she was going to buy one and then see about offering them at her practice as well! She said that when kids have severe colds, just before they're about to be admitted to the hospital, a respiratory therapist is called in and they have to deep suction the nose out to help the child to breathe and eat - well, now you can do it at home!! And it's SO easy, doesn't hurt the kid's nose at all, so you can do it as much as you need to. It shortens the length of the sickness, as it gets as the infection out, and it makes it so the child can breath easily, and they are able to eat and sleep well, therefore getting over the illness quicker! There's a strange sense of satisfaction as you see the tube fill up with goo - it's genius!

On Friday, we went up to our family's cabin and were blown away by the amount of snow up there!!! It was awesome!!

My Mom taking Max sledding for his first time -

Hannah took Max down a tabaggon run they made - it went clear up the mountain side!

It was SO nice to relax at the cabin! We didn't want to come home! :)

Im jealous about the new booger sucker. I spent so much time with a hospital one up Dally's nose. Hope he feels better. The cabin sledding looks cold and fun!

I'm sorry, I threw up in my mouth before you told me not to. I really might have to get myself one of those things. Argh. I hate bugars!

I know I'm a mom when I get excited about the Nosefrida. I need one of those. My girls get a boogie and then they can't sleep. And I can't sleep.......

Okay, the nose thing looks disgusting, but if it works, I'll have to invest with our new little one. You'll have to let me know where to pick one up.
