So.....you know how sometimes you think you're a great mother, and then something happens that humbles the crap out of you?
Yeah, well, I just had one of those moments.
Max has been having some constipation problems, and I was instructed by a Dr. to give him 2 teaspoons of Milk of Magnesia. That night I went out and bought it for him and filled the little cup that came with it to the 2 line. I did notice that it took him about 5 swallows to finish the measured amount, but didn't think anything of it. About 5 hours later the poor kid's bowels were looser than Britney Spears. Well, today I had a thought to take a closer look at the measuring cup - 2 TABLESPOONS!!! For shaaaaaaaame! Ah well, at least his insides are now squeaky, squeaky, clean.
Hudson had his 4 month appt today and I'm pleased to say that his stats are:
Head - 50% percentile
Weight - 14.3 lbs. - 45% percentile
Height - 26 1/2 in. - 90% percentile
It was the sweetest, saddest experience as Hudson got his immunizations, with Max at the appt. As soon as Hudson starting crying, Max threw himself on the floor and starting crying in that broken-heart kind of cry. He said he was sad that Hudson "got a poke"! Awwwww!

And I can't believe Hudsey is in 90% for height and 45% for weight. That's so crazy! He's Locke's size almost!

LOL! I couldn't help, but laugh when I read about Max's bowel problem. Atleast it wasn't anything that could hurt him!
That is so cute about Max being sympathetic to Hudson getting shots.
Max is so sweet. The only thing J could say when the girls got their shots were "No poke for me, no poke for me ok mommy??"
It's a good thing that Max will probably never remember the milk of magnesia "incident." I'm glad little kids have short memories.
Oh, that's too sad. Poor poopy Max. lol. That's cute that he was sad for Brother.
We all have those mom moments. No problem with constipation now. So sad that Max hated seeing Hudson poked.

um. you said "looser than britney spears". i'm DYING!!! boy, i can relate to the plugged up kid problem. i still do cartwheels when maya poops. i never imagined my life would be SO much about poop.
